Lessons learned the hard way…

Don’t you think that if God said it, He knows what He is talking about? He knows that doing things in the opposite order brings disappointments, as well as added questions, concerns and/ or confusion.

LESSON #1 – Regarding Fornication

1 Corinthians 7:1-3 (AMP) Now as to the matters of which you wrote: It is good (beneficial, advantageous) for a man not to touch a woman [outside marriage]. But because of [the temptation to participate in] sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. The husband must fulfill his [marital] duty to his wife [with good will and kindness], and likewise the wife to her husband.

1 CORIN 7vs1-3

When we go having intercourse with a boyfriend/ girlfriend or fiance/ finacee, we open the door to the enemy. We are walking out of line with God’s best for our lives. From experience, this has caused me great pain at times in my life. Regardless what they may say, eventually the fun ends and/ or either parent may not be willing to give up their freedoms even for their child (aka selfishness). The reality of raising a child and responsibility that comes along with raising a child, are not always accepted by both parties. This can be hard enough at times for married couples, so why wouldn’t it be hard for individuals seeking to do life out of Gods perfect will?

God gives the order that is best for us… his children; to keep us from future hurts, disappointments, anger, resentment and frustrations.
