YOU SAY YOU’RE A CHRISTIAN…BUT DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHO YOU ARE?
The next time the enemy wants to call you out, puts you down, brings up your past, blames you or any of the likeness thereof, then I want you to go back and re-read this post as many times as you need to be reminded of who God says you are…NOW WALK IT OUT!!!
YOU WERE A SINNER according Romans 5:19 (AMP) For just as by one man’s disobedience (failing to hear, [a ]heedlessness, and carelessness) the many were constituted sinners, so by one Man’s obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him). 1 John 1:9 (AMP) If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
YOU NEEDED A SAVIOR according to John 3:16 (AMP) For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a ]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life and Romans 10:9 (AMP) Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
YOU HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS, as your Lord and Savior, knowing that you were helpless without him and have openly admitted that, with the knowledge that there is no other way to the Father, THEREFORE YOU ARE ACCEPTED according to Acts 4:12 (AMP) And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.
YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS according to Romans 5:21 (AMP) For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [[a ]endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]..
YOU BECAME SPIRIT FILLED with the Spirit of the Living God, at that very moment when you accepted him to come into your heart and take over your life, Acts 1:8 (AMP) But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth and Colossians 2:10(AMP) And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].
YOU ARE SEALED according to 2 Corinthians 1:22(AMP) [He has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise].
YOU ARE A SLAVE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS according to Romans 6:18 (AMP) And having been set free from sin, you have become the servants of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose, and action).
YOU HAVE TO RIGHT TO CALL YOURSELF A CHILD OF GOD according to John 1:12(AMP) But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—
YOU ARE A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD according to 1 Peter 2:9 (AMP)But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own [a ]purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.10 Once you were not a people [at all], but now you are God’s people; once you were unpitied, but now you are pitied and have received mercy.
YOU ARE AN HEIR TO THE THRONE OF GOD according to Romans 8:17 (AMP) And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
YOU ARE A SWEET SMELLING AROMA TO GOD according to 2 Corinthians 2:15 (AMP) For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:
YOU ARE A DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST according to Isaiah 54:13 And all your [spiritual] children shall be disciples [taught by the Lord and obedient to His will], and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of your children.
YOU ARE A SOLDIER IN GOD’S ARMY according to Ephesians 6:11 (amp) Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
YOU ARE LIGHT IN A DARK AND DYING WORLD according to Matthew 5:14 (AMP) You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE IN HIS LIKENESS according to Psalm 139:14 (AMP) I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.
YOU ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP according to Ephesians 2:10 (AMP) For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), [a]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
YOU ARE APPROVED OF GOD according to Romans 8:1 (AMP)Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.
YOU ARE BEING TRANSFORMED according to Romans 12:2 (AMP) Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
YOU HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST according to Galatians 2:20&21 (AMP) I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. [Therefore, I do not treat God’s gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace (unmerited favor) of God. For if justification (righteousness, acquittal from guilt) comes through [observing the ritual of] the Law, then Christ (the Messiah) died groundlessly and to no purpose and in vain. [His death was then wholly superfluous.]
THEREFORE DO NOT CAST YOUR PEARLS TO SWINE (MATTHEW 7:6) OR GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT BY TAKING IN THE ENEMIES OPINION OF YOU (EPHESIANS 4:30), REMEMBER HOW THEY TREATED JESUS AND YOU SEE WHERE HE SITS NOW, ABOVE THE OPINIONATED, EARTH IS HIS FOOTSTOOL.
LAST, BUT NOT LEAST, JOHN 4:4 TELLS US WE ARE FROM GOD AND HAVE OVERCOME THEM, FOR HE WHO IS IN YOU IS GREATER THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD.
AND FOR ALL YOU FACEBOOK STALKERS I HAVE THIS TO SAY:
Galatians 6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
1 Brethren, if any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also.
2 Bear (endure, carry) one another’s burdens and [a]troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Christ (the Messiah) and complete [b]what is lacking [in your obedience to it].
3 For if any person thinks himself to be somebody [too important to condescend to shoulder another’s load] when he is nobody [of superiority except in his own estimation], he deceives and deludes and cheats himself.
4 But let every person carefully scrutinize and examine and test his own conduct and his own work. He can then have the personal satisfaction and joy of doing something commendable [[c]in itself alone] without [resorting to] boastful comparison with his neighbor.
5 For every person will have to bear ([d]be equal to understanding and calmly receive) his own [[e]little] load [f][of oppressive faults].
6 Let him who receives instruction in the Word [of God] share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his support].
7 Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked [g]by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and [h]that only is what he will reap.
